DEVLOG: Ipsissimus Title Screen
A screen capture of the title screen work in progress. It attempts to gather the atmosphere of the game in a single scene. The crows sit and watch and caw, while the looming building in the background foreshadows you exploration of the pyramid and the tower.
I’d like to add lighting attracting to the aerials too.
A simple blueprint controls the lightning flash and sound, which is randomised, while the camera runs on a simple dolly sequence back and forth.
I added some subtle custom sounds for the menu items, and menu layers, plus a settings menu and so on.
The title screen includes music using my own voice and digitally twisted… shades of Koyaanisqatsi here too.
