When covering the AES trade show in New York for Sound On Sound magazine, we shot a feature with Illmind. We tried something different: I wrote and recorded an acapella vocal in just under an hour to a root note and then we handed this to !llmind, who created a track in an hour.

I took the stems away with me and now I’m mixing and mastering them, so you watch and hopefully get something out of it. I use Presonus Studio One as well as plenty of plugins and some nice hardware too.
